I Want to Be a Doctor

For as long as I can remember, I have really wanted to be a doctor. I don’t want to be just any type of doctor, though. I want to be a doctor for pets. I want to work with dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, mice, hamsters, and any other type of animal that needs me. Right now, I am in college learning how to be a veterinarian. I am learning all about cats in one of my college classes. We are learning about their body structure and where their organs are located. In another class, I am learning about different medications that animals can take. I have to memorize proper dosages and the side effects of the medications. I am really having so much fun. I am glad that I am finally going to get to work with animals. My parents are very proud of me for working towards my goal.
