We waited to get married after graduating from college so we could take all the time we wanted for our honeymoon. Between my husband and I, we’d been going to school for almost 12 years collectively, and it was time for a much needed rest and vacation. Our honeymoon would be the perfect time for that. We looked at holidays to Maldives after checking out a few other places, and we knew immediately that this was where we wanted to go. It was absolutely beautiful. I don’t think that we could have found a more beautiful, serene place to spend the first couple of weeks of married life. It was truly was the trip of a lifetime for both of us. It was a fabulous way to start off our married life, and I hope our entire marriage is as beautiful. Everything about this trip from start to finish was perfect.

It’s almost the end of the year and I should start looking for a hostalbooking site to make reservation for my summer holidays. Cunard Cruises is one of the most famous cruising companies in Southampton, England. It has been around for over a century and originally known as the British and North American Royal Mail Steam-Packet Company.
Samuel Cunard, a Canadian, was commissioned to deliver the first transatlantic steamship mail. That was in 1839 and he founded the company in 1840. The original route that their steamships traversed was Liverpool-Halifax-Boston. The business flourished in the three decades that followed. I always think that one of the great reasons to come to France in mid July is that you’re bound to enjoy a great firework display: its the traditional way that the French celebrate their national day Bastille Day on the 14th July. But what if you can’t take your holiday at that time?

My college group will have a reunion this coming fall and I was tasked to be in charge of travel arrangements. Travel can be great way to learn not just through observation of what is going on around you but also by communicating with locals. You also meet fellow travellers so this gives you a chance to learn about their country too. This was a bonus I had not accounted for. I know you have to be careful about how you interpret what you see. I think also that as travellers that may be quite cosseted normally we have to be careful not to idealise. It can look quite picturesque seeing ladies sat in the markets of Bolivia with their wonderful dresses and bowler hats. It however may hide the difficulty in making money to live and the hardship in getting the produce. Or how hard the task of being a marketer is. I suspect when we look in the fields of people working its not so ahrd to imagine their hardships.
Branching out in London

Taking a look at sites related to the terms, “summer student accommodation London” has opened my eyes to the amount of possibilities that lie in the UK with regards to studying abroad. The school offers a housing program, but it’s rather expensive due to the school rates; I decided not to go with their housing when I was going to study over there and instead, I decided to look for housing on my own. I thought that I could get more creative and innovative, gaining a more authentic London experience while also saving a little money in the process. Apparently, there are several off-campus offerings in the area, just like there are in many college towns here in the United States. You get to live with a variety of different people from the country, not just college students who are also from the US, and that’s a big perk for me because while there, I want to meet as many people from the culture that I can.

My fiance and I are getting married next month, and we are looking for vacation packages that aren’t too expensive. We both recently graduated from law school, so our budget is a little tight. We want to travel around without spending too much money, so we are going to trim down where we can. One thing that might be useful would be to cut down on fancy dining while on our vacation. Another thing that I was looking into was discount hotel booking, because I had heard from a friend that this could save me a bunch of money. So, I went online to some websites which scoured the internet for deals on accommodation packages. This actually turned out to be a pretty good deal, as I found one that would save us around 200 dollars for a week. I will definitely suggest this to my fiance as we are deciding where to travel.

On a visit there you will be able to walk around the old slave huts which date back to 1700. You will also be able to explore the wonderful Arawak Indian caves. The cotton plantation ruins also have stories to tell. From an aspect concerning the structure of the island, you will see Mount Alvernia, which extends 206 feet above sea level. This rustic village may leave you wondering about what life in the old Bahamas must have been like.
Have You Thought of Getting a Lisbon Apartment?

I mean if you are going to visit Lisbon, of course. I was just reading a bit about Portugal the other day, and of course Lisbon figured prominently in the story. I could see renting a Lisbon apartment for a short stay and just wandering about the city whenever I wanted to. I wonder if they recommend guides and things, with these apartments? I’m pretty sure they probably do. Or at least tour facilities and stuff. Anyway, it’s funny that I will read a book about a place and immediately want to visit. I suppose its only natural — when you are engrossed in the book you can feel you are actually there. Especially if the author is very descriptive. I would love to see how well the description holds up though, of any given place. I know sometimes I don’t even recognize my own city when some people write about it.
